My name is Lisa, and this is my “Before to Beyond” story.
There was a time when I felt completely defeated. Four years ago I was an athlete, a runner in great shape. My life turned upside down after a terrifying 25-foot fall from a zipline, a split second that left me shattered, both physically and emotionally. The doctors told me if they prescribed a wheelchair, I would become dependent and fall into a pit of depression and obesity. I felt a wave of hopelessness I’d never known before. The physical pain was overwhelming, but the emotional toll was even heavier. I pushed aside that limit the doctors gave me and bought my wheelchair. I walked 3 months later but never really got my full mobility back—found an issue they missed, my tendon in my left foot ripped open and had scar tissue from healing incorrectly. So I got surgery and was back in a wheelchair. I knew what to do this time because I did it before. Then the wall of CPTSD hit hard. After many tests, the doctors discovered that my CPTSD (Complex Post-Traumatic Disorder) was from repeated childhood trauma and not my zipline fall.
So here I was, defeated physically again and defeated emotionally. Could I do it? I wanted to be strong for my kids, to show them a mom who didn’t give up, but on the inside, I was crumbling. On the surface, I tried to stay positive, but I felt disconnected from the woman I used to be. Every step felt impossible, and every attempt at progress seemed pointless. I was beginning to believe I was meant to be broken, defeated, and stuck.
But deep inside, there was a tiny voice, a flicker of hope that refused to let go. I didn’t know it then, but that voice would grow louder, and that flicker would ignite into a fire that would change everything.
Becoming Limitless:
I will forever be grateful for my friend who shared two packets of ZipSlim with me. Today, I stand at tall 28.5 pounds lighter, 11 inches less, and infinitely stronger—not just in body, but in spirit. What once felt impossible has now become my reality: I am no longer confined by the limitations that tried to define me. I am walking, running, and thriving, proving to myself and my family that resilience is stronger than any setback.
This transformation wasn’t just about weight loss—it was about reclaiming my energy, joy, and purpose. Beyond Slim’s products, especially the ZipSlim, ZipBOOM, RSN, and ZipBURN, gave me the natural, simple solutions I needed. They fit perfectly into my busy life as a mom, and with the Reboot 66 program, I finally had the tools to stay consistent. The program’s nine Reboot Rituals were mostly in line with the daily tasks I set every day, to get out of the dark hole I was in. They taught me how to prioritize self-care daily, like hydrating first thing in the morning, taking time to reflect with gratitude, and moving my body with intention.
The support from Reboot 66 was life-changing. The weekly mindset tips, delicious recipes, and guidance from trainer and naturopathic doctors made me feel like I wasn’t doing this alone. My favorite part? Realizing I could enjoy the food I love while still making progress, without feeling deprived.
Now, I wake up feeling energized and ready to tackle the day—whether it’s taking care of my kiddos, tending to the garden, chickens and bunnies, or growing my wellness business. My family loves seeing me so happy and active, and I love knowing I’m setting an example of resilience and health for my kids.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you’re never too far gone to create the life you want. With Beyond Slim and the Reboot 66 program, I’ve found my confidence.
The journey wasn’t just about physical healing it was about reclaiming my confidence, my purpose, and my joy. I’ve gone from waking up every day, dreading the pain and exhaustion, to rising with energy, excitement, and clarity. I no longer feel like a shadow of myself. I feel alive, vibrant, and limitless.
For the first time in years, I look in the mirror and recognize the woman staring back. She’s not just stronger physically— She’s mentally unshakable. I’ve overcome the CPTSD that once held me captive, found freedom from emotional eating, and replaced late-night snacking with self-care and confidence. I’ve learned to nourish my body with the foods I love in a way that supports my goals, without depriving myself or sacrificing my joy.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you’re never too far gone to create the life you want. With Beyond Slim and the Reboot 66 program, I’ve found my confidence, my health, and my limitless potential—and I know you can, too.
