50+ Me Finding the Younger Me

My name is Sandy, and this is my Before to Beyond Story…

Before ZipSlim®, I was feeling down about myself, because I was the heaviest I had been my whole life. For over 20 years, I have battle weight gain due to meds. After having my son at 39, my weight just kept on going up due to stress, meds, knee problems and menopause.

I was not motivated to exercise due to both knees having osteoarthritis in them which caused pain all the time. I have always been an active person, but the pain was unbearable just to work. This lack of motivation led to depression, because I could not play basketball, ride a bike, or even hike a trail with my family. Some days, it was hard just to work or to do normal everyday chores around the house.

The more depressed I got the more I ate, which led to more weight and more knee pain. After my one knee replacement in 2018, I lost some weight from therapy, so I tried several diets that did not work or made me sick. Due to my heart condition, I could not do the traditional diets that have stimulus additives. My weight gain not only impact me both physically and mentally, it impacted my family life, too.

I learned about Beyond Slim® through friends (Kathleen and Lori) that reached out to me back in October 2020. Kathleen was very knowledgeable about the product and showed me that ZipSlim® was backed by a doctor and science.

I was very skeptical about it at first, because I did not want to spend a lot of money to get nowhere. I thought about it for several days, and that following weekend, I ordered it. My first thought about the drink was it going to be like the other ones that was nasty. After mixing and drinking my first one, I was like how is this good tasting drink going to help me lose weight. The drink was like WOW!

I noticed right away that it stopped my morning cravings for snacks and most of all my morning Coke. I have been a Coke drinker since I was a toddler. There were days before ZipSlim® that I would drink 6 cans or more. Since ZipSlim®, I might have one a month to help with headaches.

The second thing that I noticed right away is that I was sleeping all night (8 hours). In four days, I lost 5 pounds, and I was hooked. In two months which included Thanksgiving and Christmas, I had lost 14 pounds.

Since February 1st, I started following the the Reboot Rituals, which I did here and there. I started trying to doing them all after I joined my Reboot Group, “Mission Slimpossible!,” which encouraged me do better for the team.

Since February, I have experienced less cravings for snacks, more cravings for vegetables, more sleep, more energy and a happier mood. My overall health is great and can not wait to go back to the doctor in August to see the difference in the lab work.

Since October 2020, I have lost 25 pounds and I am at the weight that I was at 16 years ago. I have since plateaued for 3 weeks, but I will not let that stop me from losing more. The first person to say anything about my weight loss was my husband when he noticed that he could put his arms around me again. The second person to say something about my weight loss was my mom who has been on my case to lose weight for years due to my heart.

I even became a Coach in March, due to a coworker who wanted to lose weight and wanted me to be her Coach. It is a great feeling to have other people wanting to be healthier. What I would say to someone who is where I use to be at would be, “Why not start today to be the younger you again?”
