This Girl is on Fire and Living Her Purpose

My name is linda, and this is my Before to Beyond Story…

I know and love my purpose. My purpose is to love God, love others, love myself, be a light and live life to the full. How can you live the fullness of life until it’s experienced? I was miserable and disgusted with myself; low energy and lack of confidence. I don’t know if it was my lack of energy or being a carb addict but I was taking a nap almost every day. I have too much life to live to be taking naps! My weight was at an all-time high. I was actually wishing I weighed what I did at nine months pregnant (many years ago).

I believed I was living my purpose until I met this influential and committed woman at a seminar. Neither one of us knew what a divine appointment our meeting would become. After months of doing my own thing, Beyond Slim Founding Coach Sarah Cranston introduced me to a relatively new product, ZipSlim.

I had been following Sarah’s journey on social media from January 2021 until April 2021. I knew I had to do something different and there was no way I could blame it all on weight gain from a stressful 2020. I contacted Sarah and told her I was ready to give ZipSlim a try. I was thrilled that I loved the taste.

The problem was I just wanted to drink it without changing my diet… Sarah invited me to join a Reboot Group. At first, I wasn’t interested in being coached or supported. I just wanted to move to the beat of my own drum. Everyone says they want accountability until it shows up, and then it’s not what you thought it would be. So, I sabotaged myself, drank my two packets a day, and followed the same high carb diet that got me to my obese status.

After three months, without a significant weight loss, I contacted Sarah again. I told her I either needed a butt chewing or some motivation, because I was not ready to call it quits. The inches had totally been disappearing since April (even though this rebel never took her measurements), but I wasn’t seeing a change in my weight. She suggested I cut out the bread and sugar; follow the Think T.H.I.N. (Total High Intensity Nutrition) recipe guide.

She also invited me to join another Reboot Group which was starting the following Monday. This was a small group who were committed to support, encouragement and accountability.

This quote by Henry Ford popped right into my head: “If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got.” I didn’t hesitate to say yes.

That accountability, coaching and support has made all the difference in my success. To quote a post by another Founding Coach, Joy Edgerton, “IF AT FIRST YOU DON’T SUCCEED…Try doing what your COACH told you to do the first time.”

I know that personal growth has to be a part of any health and wellness program I choose into. When I do the work on myself, the results are sustainable. I sleep better, I’m more energetic, less stressed and more mellow.

I follow the 9 Reboot Rituals which include moving my body 30 minutes every day. That now replaces the nap I no longer need. The carb cravings are gone. I’m not hungry between meals and that makes 1,350 calories super easy (you don’t want to see Linda hangry!).

I’ve released 25 1/2 pounds in 9 weeks since my commitment and joining the Reboot Group. I’ve gone from a size 12-14 down to 8-10. I still gravitate to the larger sizes when shopping, and always get to choose a smaller size. I’m not used to that.

My unconscious programming has to catch up with my body because that negative belief says it’s okay to be overweight. I’m getting close to the weight that’s on my driver’s license and I’m committed to zipping right past that weight.

My friends and family are so proud of me and many have joined the “Zip Train” with me. Before, I hated having my picture taken; now, I’m always asking my husband to take my picture!

ZipSlim® truly does go “Beyond Slim®,” and they make it fun and easy if you simply follow the plan. My original goal was to look and feel better as well as improve my health by releasing weight. Now, I choose to continue my journey and bring others along with me. My “WHY” is now part of my purpose and I’m living life to the full. I’ve discovered that I not only love myself, I like myself, too. That’s a bonus!

If you’re on the fence, take the leap and get started. Ask yourself, if not now, when? And don’t be afraid of accountability. It’s not to shame you it’s to support you in creating the results you say you want.

Join me in living life to the full. You deserve it!
