My name is Jodi and this is my Before to Beyond story.
I used to be a very active person. From 1/2 marathons to triathlons.
Over the years I worked myself to hard and started getting injured. About 6 months ago I started have terrible inflammation. Everything Hurt. I went from 5 days a week working out to 1 day of working out and that was because I had a standing appointment with my trainer and a workout partner. I was getting depressed and not wanting to do anything. It was not good between that and not sleeping because of menopause, I was miserable.
I had seen a few friends that I did DS with and was seeing that they were talking about how it helped with the depression and anxiety and inflammation.
My thought was what do you have to lose? So 2 months ago I decided to order it and with in the first week I noticed a huge difference in how I felt .
I actually felt like getting up and out of bed which was a big struggle when you hurt. Then I started noticing I was more focused and motivated. I also noticed I wasn’t aimlessly snacking. I also started using some of the recipes from the thin cookbook.
Now that I’m feeling better I can start working on my health and food choices. I would highly recommend and I have to my friends that are dealing with these issues.
Weight loss was not my main priority, but if it was a result of getting back in the swing of working out and eating healthy then I’ll take it!
